Can't get broadband?
Are you one of the ever-growing number of communities still unable to get broadband?
Following the Notspot survey, and the increased coverage about broadband on TV, we are receiving a large number of enquiries from people and groups still unable to get broadband about what to do.There now appears to be a growing consumer voice which needs to be heard.
ABC has very limited resources - we are entirely self-funded - and as such we cannot support each group individually, although as many of you know, we are trying to respond to as many of you as possible.
Individuals unable to connect are probably best using the forums on ThinkBroadband.com for advice, although we do ask that you complete the Notspot survey, which will allow us to put you in touch with others in your area also suffering. It may be that there are a few of you who could meet up locally and work together to get help. All donations to cover that work will be appreciated.
What we can do with the community groups and organsations is put you collectively in touch with each other, and also with journalists and the media who are looking for those who are suffering from broadband problems.
We shall be sending out a newsletter during March detailing the actions you can take, listing as many of the regions and areas where we know people are affected so you can contact us to get in touch with others in your area, point you to resources about broadband self-help
